I don't have an exact location on this show, the Aurora Picture Show is an annual film festival. Negativland, a band as renowned for their visual works, appeared to provide a 90-minute set of culture jammed noise.

I've uploaded both of her Boygenius bandmates before, so it was inevitable I'd have to post one for Julien Baker (hi Mure). The setlist, as performed by her and (mostly) a band, contains almost all of her recent album Little Oblivions  and is in very nice quality. Comes with a host of pictures too. Opening for Julien Baker on her tour of Europe, Ratboys are a normally four-piece band who've been temporarily reduced to three (David Sagan broke his arm earlier on the tour and is sadly absent). The first show of the final three weeks of the OK Computer  tour, another run through North America now that Radiohead were one of the biggest shows on the planet. Blowing out the cobwebs after six weeks off following the Australian leg, there's nothing too inspired in the setlist but it's a good recording and there are some nice performances of 'Planet Telex', 'Subterranean Homesick Alien', and 'Paranoid Android'. Full confession, I am very tired and fell asleep for a bunch while listening to this. That said, it's no indictment on the show - it's a great recording (although with some spots of diginoise), the setlist features rarer tour tracks 'The Burning Spear' and 'Tom Violence', and there are great noise passages in 'Pattern Recognition' and one of the best 'Expressway to Yr Skull' performances to close. There are plenty of sources for this famous show - Green Day playing an hour long set to a small crowd in the middle of Sydney Harbour - and this is a newly surfaced one of them. Proshot by Australian TV station Channel V, the show is uncut and also gives you a look at the band arriving and departing; there are a few small skips and there exist slightly better versions for both audio and video (not in DVD format) but it's still a lovely version of the show. One of the last shows of 2006, and (after the taper moves back a bit during 'Meds') it's an amazing one - excellent audio recording, plenty of great guitar intros and outros to songs (essentially every song in the second half of the show has some between-song noise), a loud crowd. To close out the show, Taylor's rhythm section joins Moore and Surgal (and an unnamed saxophonist) for another spree of guitar noise.

A lovely event at the Knockout venue in San Francisco, with three shoegaze bands playing short "happy hour" sets from 5 to 9. Probably first up were Letting Up Despite Great Faults, who recently released their first album in eight years and play three songs from it here. Track listing: [soundcheck] Wrapped Corners Pressed Gemini Visions Secrets She Spins Gold Our Younger Noise 2, 6, and 8 from Neon ; 3, 4, and 7 from IV ; 5 from Untogether ; 9 from Letting Up Despite Great Faults .

Shortly after the Coachella shows, Thom and Nigel stayed behind in California to perform a DJ set at a Transmission festival in Los Angeles. Alongside a variety of techno jams that weren't included, the set features the two then-unreleased songs 'Interference' and 'Amok', Jacques Greene's remix of 'Lotus Flower', and the Kid A -era leftover '33.3 Recurring' that later evolved into 'The Gloaming'.

Track listing [real]: drone > Job's Lament [part] Job's Lament > First of the Last Glaciers Bosses Hang Gathering Storm Mladic Government Came > Cliffs...

Opening for Godspeed You! Black Emperor, a serene and beautiful drone set from their guitar tech (and musician in his own right!) Kevin Doria.

A weird sounding tape from The Idiot  tour. The recording claims to be an audience tape from the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, but it features a DJ introduction and basically no crowd noise, sounding like a radio session? Anyway, it's fun and a good performance. Track listing: [intro] Raw Power TV Eye Dirt Turn Blue Funtime Gimme Danger No Fun Sister Midnight I Need Somebody Search and Destroy I Wanna Be Your Dog China Girl 2, 7, 10, and 11 from Raw Power ; 3 and 4 from Fun House ; 8 and 12 from...
