The Others were an American garage rock band formed in South Kingstown, Rhode Island, in 1964. Heavily influenced by British Invasion groups, the Others enjoyed a role as one of the most popular New England musical acts, thanks in large part to their debut single "I Can’t Stand This Love, Goodbye". The record is regularly featured on 1960s garage compilation albums, most notably Pebbles, Volume 8. Three singles, including "I Can’t Stand This Love, Goodbye", were released...

Moxy is a Canadian hard rock band that got together in the mid 70's. As a native Texan teen in the 70's I remember their popularity soared due to KISS / KMAC AM radio station in San Antonio playing their songs a lot. I saw them open for Nazareth (2nd band) and then Black Sabbath (headliner) at Sam Houston Coliseum in Houston TX in the 70's.

A 60's song obviously written about an LSD trip. The Attack - Strange House 1968 (with song lyrics) - The Attack were a British band from 1966–1968 in London during the fun-loving Swinging Sxties revolution. Their style of music can be described as psychedelic garage. After all the sixties are well known for a time many experimented with psychedelic drugs. Remember The Beatles hoax in the 60s? Reports were guitarist / singer Paul McCartney died in a car wreck. I've only read about it until now. Supposedly band members didn't want to break the news to the public and used a guy who won the McCartney look-alike contest. The entire time he was quietly hiding out at his parents in Scotland to enjoy some peace of mind. Interesting and informative radio show from WKBW AM from 1969. Via Buffalo New York's WKBW Radio I found the audio here in the Internet...

Talented Chicago soul rhythm & blues singer with hit songs near the top of the billboard charts when his career peaked in the 1960's & 1970's. Like many great soul & blues singers Ricky first started singing in the church choir. A nice funky sound. It's taken from my YouTube music channel. It's been there for years. Houston Texas DJ Shotgun Cook at KRBE FM 1970's. I grew up on Houston radio stations. I didn't live in Houston but close enough I was there for 100's of kick ass rock concerts in the 70's. I mostly listened to KLOL and 97 ROCK but would click to KRBE at times just to hear Shotgun Cook. Love the shotgun sound. It's a TEXAS thang, BIG CITY NIGHTS!!!

Shag carpet was a dust pit. At least it was in our home in 60's and 70's. When I turned on my black light the shag carpet was scary. You could see all of the dust, dirt, grime and creatures hiding in it. There was a time or two I saw seeds sprouting.
