His girl Friday
Timeless good stuff and with a certain acctuality of what lives even today. Deathpenalty and the unchangeble results one cant undo in case of mistaken identity or being framed and or railroaded, so to speak. The only specific thing for the time it was filmed in, was it concerned a caucasian man on the hotseat. But as a sort of, it could have happend to anybody in those days..and even untill this very day, people get sent to the deathpenalty wich can not be undone once discovered that a person is innoccent. And we do not all have the two wonderfull leads to save us. So when it comes to the timeless topic of this movie, combined with such a wonderfull cast, it is a pleasure to watch this film at least a couple of times over. I will watch it again, I rewatched it in my youth also more than a few times and I am so happy to be able to do so again thanks to this wonderfull archive, wich I just discovered about an hour ago, thanks to my Spanish lessons.. ;-)))
