From UK, Cousin Silas is an ambient project by David Hughes. The name comes from a character in King Crimson's song "Happy Family".
I've always toyed with the idea of having two long form pieces connected. Not like a part one and two, more an enhancement, a continuation, a relationship.
In many ways, I suppose the idea originally came from Czukay and Sylvian's Plight & Premonition and Flux & Mutability.
Silence & Solitude both evolve and feature pads and guitar and evolve over time.
