On 2006/10/24, SCI Fidelity asked us to remove 10/31/2000 from the collection as the band will be offering this as an official release soon.

Update 12/17/2007: 3/21/2002 and 3/22/2002 have also been removed per request of the band.

Update 07/09/2010: 11/17/00 Atlanta has been removed at the request of the band.

SCI allows non-commercial taping and trading of shows. We spoke with SCI Fidelity Records who approved the inclusion of Madison House bands, including SCI, in the Internet Archive.

THE STRING CHEESE INCIDENT RECORDING POLICY
Audience taping only is allowed at all Incidents. Taping of an SCI performance will only be permitted in the designated taping area. Guest performances by band members with other artists will be overseen by that artist's policy. No electrical power will be given to the taper section. Please have fresh batteries available.

In a theater, if the floor is general admission and the balcony is reserved, you must hold a general admission floor ticket if you wish to bring recording gear into the show. If there is reserved seating on the floor, then a designated taper's ticket is required in order to bring taping equipment into the venue. All designated tapers' seats have the word "TAPER" clearly printed in the text on the face of the ticket. If the ticket does not say taper, then it is not a taper's seat. Tapers' tickets are only sold by SCI Ticketing. See http://www.sciticketing.com for more information. They are not available from Ticketmaster or any other outlets. A taper's ticket (designated taper seat or general admission floor ticket) permits the ticket holder to bring ONE audio recording deck and ONE microphone stand/set of microphones into the venue; additional equipment will not be permitted entry. Anyone found taping in violation of the above policy will be removed from the venue and unauthorized recordings will be confiscated.

Since there are no designated tapers' tickets at general admission shows, entry to the taping section is first-come first-serve. Taping will be allowed on a space-available basis with any ticket. When the section is full, no additional recording equipment will be allowed into the show. If you wish to tape at a general admission show you have the best chance of getting a spot in the section if you are in line to enter the building when the doors open; this time is always printed on each ticket. If all of the space is taken before you enter the venue, you will not be permitted to bring recording equipment in with you.

The enjoyment of the audience in attendance at an Incident always takes priority over recording efforts. This means that at no time should tapers ever call for other concertgoers to be quiet or impede their enjoyment of the Incident.

Per our taping policy, there will continue to be no "front of board" taping. However, we will continue to place the taper section in the BEST spot available in accordance with the restrictions and policies of the venues. Furthermore, we will continue to do our best to accommodate as many tapers as possible within the confines of the venue's limitations and ticket / space availability.
