Blind Devotion
It doesn't matter, if it is in Politics, Religion or some other different area, there's always a group interested in taking control, and for that it's necessary to build up followers. And followers are like zombies, who do not reflect but follow the wave as it goes. As long as a small group start to pay attention to what someone says without any critical position, the scenario is ready for another leader to emerge and take with him all he can. The story has been told numerous times and likewise repeated in reality, as it is now.
