One of just a few women to have made major contributions to jazz piano, Ms. Carroll had a long career and was famous in the world of New York City jazz clubs. This recording is the third of about two dozen stretching from around 1952 until 2017. That's 55 years! This RCA Victor mono LP LJM-1001 was recorded in 1953.
