An artistic masterpiece from the early 1950's, this episode of "Howdy Doody" comes from the 1st of April, 1952. As such, the episode starts with a practical joke which probably annoyed many people. This episode also contains lots of advertising for the sponsors, including Colgate Dental Cream and Kellogg's cereal. Like many TV broadcasts from this period, this episode features some talk about elections, though in a safe and light-hearted manner suited to the program's young audience.

A live tv production of Frankenstein from the anthology series Tales of Tomorrow. Legend has it that Lon Chaney Jr. (playing the monster) was unaware that it wasn't a rehearsal, so rather than break up props as planned, he simply put them down. While he certainly does some odd things with the chairs and appears to ask a question to somebody off stage (at 12:04), he does break up some props, and certainly isn't the only one flubbing (or was 'elictricigate' a word in the day of Mary Shelley?)...

In this episode, the lead character tries to get a job for an elderly friend, which causes trouble when, after getting a job as a Department store Santa, he starts giving away toys for free. Starring Betty White. Sorry for picture quality flaws caused by issues beyond my control.
