It's back... The annual Back to School Rodeo returns July 21 to the Yuma Civic Center (1440 W. Desert Hills Drive). The event aims to round up community resources and information for families/parents/guardians of students in preschool through 8th grade. All are welcome! There will be fun performances on the main stage inside the venue. Doors open at 8 a.m. and the event will finish at noon. Yuma Mayor Douglas J. Nicholls, Superintendent Tom Tyree, Miss Yuma County and Miss City of Yuma titleholders and many more are slated to make an appearance to welcome all students and their families as they gear up to go back to school! Plus, more than 1,000 FREE BACKPACKS filled with school supplies will be given to students in preschool through 8th grade while supplies last.
