Guitarist FRAnk MATthias played 12 different tunes in 12 different guitar tunings but always in the key of E and always in the blues scheme or a variation of it: From standard tuning to well-known open D and E major or G and A major tunings to the celtic tunings DADGAD or ORKNEY, from the seldom played E and D minor tunings played by musicians like Albert Collins or Skip James to the even more obscure E5 and A5 Powerchord tunings of James "Blood" Ulmer.
