How can we get more of the shows made available on Archive?

Another "triumphal return" for Jerry. Everyone was very disappointed that the Veneta Third Decadal Field trip (plus Grateful Dead Fall Tour) was cancelled due to "health concerns." Super bummed. Jerry, in his inimitable fashion, made up for it with this Halloween show, 1 year after the famed Dark Star melt down with Kesey rap. Boy, I have to say, I might miss the casual environment of JGB shows more than anything! Fall 87 (Lunt); Fall 89; Fall 91 = heady, heady times. By 1993, I was tripping to Warfield on the reg (pun intended), and that scene was HIGH FLYIN'. (Forget about the "Days Between," August is just becoming Jerry MONTH for me.)

This Halloween show features the requisite Werewolves, but more than anything, it showcases a rested Jerry with a newly minted voice that carry through 1993. It was pure and clear. Man. Listen to Dixie. He really belts it. The show stealers for me, though, as was common for latter day JGB, are Stop That Train, The Maker, Shining Star, Stoned Me, and Breadbox. Man, I dug that song live! Sigh, "such a long, long time to be gone, and a short time to be there."

(This isn't a *five star* due to the fact that this excellent aud has just a bit of mud on the bottom. It could really use the Charlie Miller treatment.)
