So, for awhile I had hunkered down in the Marlborough area and one of my truest escapes was slipping into Worcester for the Jam scene. Mailed ordered Phish at the Centrum and got one ticket per night Fri, Sat, Sun up in the first ten rows each night. Every night was an after party up the street someplace and this is one of the finest bands to hear live and they really feel like old friends to me then. I even bought a three hundred dollar '83 Toyota Celica for the weekend because it turned out cheaper than a cab and hotel. It even had a purple tinted passenger window to go with its faded red paint. Someother time with that car I saw them play the Palladium and the song Leaves is to me the most truthful of the entire Jam scene. Haunting.

No band can bring out the memories for me like Max Creek. From Sneaking into HL Wilferds back in 81 and 82 with a fake ID to today . Kudos to the Creek and their 35 Years last weekend. This show sounds fabulous and they are ripping.

out here in california we get lonely sometimes but with tunes like this we get to go back to times that made us who we are and bring back such great memories thank you all who have been a part of the creek family for all these years- they are STILL the greatest...sweaty nights are sweaty nights baby---"happy holidays"---"see things my way"-
