Mel Brown's B3 Organ Quartet from the 2019 Montavilla Jazz Festival, broadcast on NPR's Jazz Night in America. In this episode, Mel shares some colorful stories in a conversation with NPR host Christian McBride (a diehard Temptations fan). Mel Brown and his band were basically the house band at Jimmy Mak's in Portland for over 25 years. Since Jimmy Mak's closed after the owner passed away, Mel and his band appear frequently at Portland's Jack London Revue.
