Bacalhau com Todos (literally meaning "cod with everything” in Portuguese) is a common bacalhau recipe in Portuguese cuisine. It consists of boiled cod, boiled vegetables (such as potato, chick peas, onions, carrots and cabbage), and hard boiled eggs. It is served seasoned with olive oil infused with garlic and, depending on taste, also white wine vinegar. Gorge yourselves!

To the vastness of electronic music is overlaid the image of a distant music maker, a hermit, at times tormented by his very own schizophrenia. From this is possible to devine IDM's chief brand image: a certain cutting edge attitude which alienates more conservative listeners, and demands of it's followers practise and self-sacrificing discipline. Nevertheless, there are those which oppose the mecanical coldness of these sounds by using confortable blankets of more humane and emotionally warm...

The music of oculoss is mainly of an atmospheric nature. Sometimes less is more, making his music ideal for listening while working, sleeping or doing other things. In "Parallel Path" oculoss explores texture, consistency, and a type of variety that could be called subtle. This is not the utopian ambient of the typical soundscape artist. This EP is serious music for serious people. http://www.clubotaku.org/mimi/uk/album264.php http://www.clubotaku.org/mimi/

To understand this is to listen to "Distant Tales and Retained Memories", a delicate meeting between detailed textures and structural ambiances rich in tonal layers, promising themselves sound enterprises of a singular, unique delicassy.

The music of 1869's project EP 'Bangaihen" is ambient/drone spectrum, with a light touch of field recordings used in the last track. This three track EP is a great example of the artist's style, slowly developing a texture of a few motives, that are repeating throughout the tracks. "Bangaihen" is a very simple ambient album, made by a guy who loves to create new ambient music. All tracks were made spontaneously and improvised. Nothing hyper conceptual, but still well structured...

"comune" offers a collection of four meditative piano pieces so extraordinarily beautiful that you won’t believe it. This is dreamy and wistful music that somehow seems to be staring off into the distance, only occasionally waking with a start to the quirky calling of a wrinkle from the real world. These pieces just seem to unfold, taking the listener at once to a deeper, yet buoyant place within them and each leaves you with the anticipation of the next. And I hope this has left...

isos offers a collection of 7 simplistic, beautiful and sad piano pieces. Haunting, contemplative and understandably. If you are a lover of Eric Satie, Debussy or perhaps even Phillip Glass you will find this worth a listen. This album is a testament to the fact that a truly wonderful song needs nothing else to make it special. Although not every song shines, every one of them has something unique about it. That makes this EP grand. Only one piano creates true emotion, and unique songs....

Tsuyoshi Nakamura moves in a dual world where the softness of velvet colored nostalgic dreams is interrupted by a sound sawing that feeds on that light and imprisions it in a labyrinth of voices, sometimes epic, sometimes soothing. The agressive darkness that embraces us is not so much cold as it is disturbing. More, the psychedelic, sci-fi, disturbance is added through glaciar metalic rhythms and other sound manipulations of static and acid distortion of diverse speed and cadence: from the...

One of the most fascinating aspects of the netaudio phenomenon is the infinite margin left for experimentation and the breaking of every rule, taboo and format. The possibility of disobedience to the classic song format, not being concerned with the length of a theme, not being forced unto a chorus for immediate consumption, etc, etc, as said before, the infinite possibilities, are up to each producer to decide… Spectrum is, apparently, a one-track EP. I stress the apparently because in...

Akira, the fictitious name behind Eurasia. didn`t make us wait longer than one season (autumn-winter) to listening to the melodies and the ambience of a rural Japan. Glooming in the Twilight maintains the delicacy of its predecessor and adds some charge more sentimental and melancholy. Sadness, yes. In this Glooming in the Twilight the field-recordings are less (or nothing) noticeable and the piano grabs all the attention from beginning to end. Joy, too. "The end of the winter" brings...

Some people say that mermaids do not exist. Pure lies. Izumi Suzuki (aka Linda Bjalla) is one of them and invites us to dream and a journey of pure enchantment by cold seas of Sweden, Izumi USA voice like a siren who naively tries to attract listeners. And she made it. The rest of the scenario is the mastery of a piano accompanied by sound landscapes that make us remember the seabed. The spell is short so it is recommended to listen in loop.

I hear "noise" as music if I want to hear the sounds. If I do not want to hear the sounds, it is noise, whatever the source, whatever the time... I ask myself, can I stretch my idea of sounds and music to appreciate what is before me? Tracks/short views: Requiem for an Archivist II Using a simple synthesizer, Sara Santos, aka, Bird Paradigma creates a textured wash of bits in degrees of smoothness, often at high speed. Most of the album is like this. Mutation Now, kick into high gear,...

After two years of anonymity, Anders Blickmann is beginning to have the public recognition of his growing mastery production, edited to mix with South American artists (Oscar Chaves, Julie Amadeo) or with Oceania EP. Here, this project presents a hypnotic construction, in which repetitive and circular elements carry the voice for a more dark and claustrophobic Oceania than the one that appears on postcards - especially in Samoa and Vanuatu. Sound textures superimpose themselves with expertise,...

Disturbing noises, haunting drones and ethereal voices make this first album of mitei narico on MiMi Records a record that is quite sensory and leads us to a disturbing cinematic-dream experience. mitei narico creates an engaging atmosphere that we could describe as an "electronic acustic doom". For sympathy mitei narico asked if his album could have a title in the language of Camoes, we never think that the name of his release was a description of him in portuguese ... after we met...

This sounds good. It sounds intelligent and contingent. But I say it in a good way. This is the living proof that brings us five tracks, each one with its own mood, spirit and respective poetry, all together in a cohesive and well-structured work that makes you want to listen to it in moments of great silence. Each theme can offer us different sensations while we’re listening to them. I can only suggest a cup of cold tea and a good view of the mountains, to join our ears on this little trip...

Four pieces alternates between harsh noise and movie-sampling from the french movie 37° 2 le matin, meaning "37.2°C in the morning" directed by Jean-Jacques Beineix. From ambiental arrangements in the middle tracks to sine drones and harsh sounds in the beginning and ending of the EP. An interesting hommage to the french cinema. http://www.clubotaku.org/mimi/uk/album/mi245.php http://www.clubotaku.org/mimi
