The Sykes Group was an innovative dance theater company under the direction of Sally Sykes. Their work premiered in Seattle in the 1980s and 1990s. Sally Sykes began her training in ballet, but found her love of movement and creative niche in contemporary and dance theater. Sykes' performing and choreographic life started in the UK in 1974 and continued across countries and oceans to finally settle in the Northwest. All pieces featured in this collection were choreographed by Sally Sykes-Wyle.
