hearing mario say "i'ma really enjoy playing with you" and all of the other voice lines puts a smile on my face. the fact that its fully voiced is amazing and the best part. the actual games are fun too, but i mean, mario is the real star here.

I played checkers and go fish. I learned that I need to learn how to play checkers.

I like that Mario talks in the checkers and go fish games. The graphics look great. Very fun games

man. i played this game in 2019. yes? when i come back playing, in 2020. he said "Nice to see you again!" I thinked mario forgot about me!

MaRiO Go FiSh

I do get sucked in for hours playing a couple of the games, but most of them are heavily stacked (programmed) in favor of Mario winning. Yacht is the most enjoyable but the favoring of Mario by the programmers is still noticeable with the amount of high point rolls just handed to him on the first roll. But still, Yacht is the main game worth playing on this collection. Backgammon is a total, nonsensical bore. Checkers: stacked in favor of Mario; too hard to win. Go Fish: stacked in favor of Mario, just a little difficult to win. Dominoes, my second favorite: only a slightly even playing field against Mario (computer); fast paced; sometimes you win, sometimes you play 20 games in a row losing to Mario, even using strategies to leave open a next move to get rid of the most pieces as possible...but then you have to draw 9 dominoes when you were down to one and Mario hasn't had to draw one. Ha ha! You lose! It's left me wondering what demographic this was targeted toward. Children and teenagers? I don't want it to be easy (even though it's just a time waster), but I don't like games that are impossible to win 90% of the time either.

I heard about this game a long time ago, and yes while its age shows, it's a pretty cute game! With Charles Martinet's voice too!
