Aiming to present the local electronic music scene on a wider scale, the German Dresden-based mp3 label Phonocake has been searching and finding mostly unknown artists from the city Dresden since June 1, 2003. However, Phonocake doesn't see itself as just a medium to distribute music over the internet, but also as a platform for artists to interact and act locally.
