Taut heist yarn.
Easily among the best ever made of the genre, with great performances by Hayden, Jaffe (arguably his finest ever), Calhern and the rest. Marilyn Monroe is memorably ravishing in a small role. John McIntire, later of TV's "Wagon Train," is the prim police commissioner.
