steve: that's right. and just to prove that they are going to back it up, they have already started making the first arrests. that train that we have shown you a million times. ainsley: the beast. steve: it goes from the south of mexico up toward the united states. over out weekend, the national guard of mexico down by guatemala, they pulled over the train, 200 people scattered. they made 25 arrests. so, so far, it looks like they are trying to do something. because we hadn't seen them do that before. brian: here's an outline of the deal that is still being solidified. the mexican national guard will go down to the tune 6,000. we were told by the mexican ambassador to the united states. their national guard is different than ours. this is a police force. they are allowed to act to make apprehensions. sign stead of 50 that are there now and they forget to lock the gate. now they have 6,000 already making arrests. also, taking actions to dismantle human smuggling and trafficking. i don't think we are easily

steve: when did that change? shannon: it started to change a little bit with margaret sanger in the 1920's. slowly she and other birth control advocate start to chip away. there is a federal law, and there is a lot of state law. the federal law was a postal law about mailing contraception and information. but a bunch of states also passed laws and they range from making it illegal to sell contraception to making it illegal to talk about or even use contraception. and so it takes from the 1920's all the way until the before the 1970's last law is overturned. steve: let's go back to the 1850's to the turn-of-the-century. did people talk about sex? where do they get information? how did all of this evolve and develop? shannon: that is another part of the contraception revolution. there is also a growth in print media and a growth because of urbanization. people are flocking to the cities. that is the growth of a few different things. the first is public sexuality. you get red light districts in boston and new york.

steve: as somebody who has been studying these veterans, not a monolithic group. the soldiers, sailors did not generally speaking want to talk about what they experienced. why? what was it about world war ii that made the greatest generation, as coined by tom brokaw as ones that didn't want , to talk about what happened? gemma: it is the gender -- greatest generation that answers this all, but it -- call, but it's a lot of people who weren't planning to go to war. this wasn't a career path, they didn't grow up thinking i wanted to join the military. the united states has an active draft, and a lot of people are not necessarily helping to be called. this is not something they felt drawn to. there are a lot of people who sowered that call and did bravely, including the invasion of normandy which is really the , catalyst for the war ending. this is finally the downfall of the war on europe. this is an incredible thing. i think really, it's a trauma. we call it combat fatigue, or we call it post-traumatic stress. for others it was really wanting to move on. you get th
