Kanada Brothers is Claus Haxholm when he makes glitching collage-drones. The sounds in the works of Kanada Brothers are made with all medias available, embracing all from old tv-shows to odd-tuned string instruments to sine frequencies and drones from the digital world. This work in particular was originally made for an 8-channel sound-system which was placed in a garden surrounding the Forma Nova Festival. Edwin Morriss debut BedroomBrain release, The Heart Bowed Down, can best be described as drone-based music involving various electronic and guitar sounds. The guitar work is reminiscent (in an impressionistic sort of way) of the guitar stylings found in Angelo Badalamentis spooky-cool jazz compositions for our all time favorite television show, Twin Peaks. Talk Show Host is an italian 4-men electronic project, pendling between IDM and noise-ambient, high-end glitch and clicky warmth; Città Sottili is a whole journey passing through catchy ambient-driven intelligent electronics (being Harlem the pearl here), poppy beats, micronoises and warm sub-drumsets (Lisbon), all growing and living in eighteen pleasant minutes; a masterpiece of its kind, really recommended.
