New generation technological improvements lead patients to search their symptoms and corresponding diagnosis on online resources. In this study, it is aimed to develop a machine learning model to suit in different availability of users. Most of the current systems allow people to choose related symptom in web interfaces. In addition to these applications it is aimed to implement a new technique which extracts the text-based symptoms and its related parameters such as, severity, duration,...

A wealth of data in public health care systems has been collected and meanwhile there are plenty of new technological improvements which have considerable influence on current data pool. Nevertheless, important obstacles are challenging to utilize existing clinical data. Enhanced technological improvements lead patients to search their symptoms and corresponding diagnosis on online resources. In this study, it is aimed to develop a machine learning model to suit in different availability of...

Diabetes, named also silent killer, is a metabolic disease characterized by high blood glucose levels, which result from body does not produce enough insulin or the body is resistant to the effects of insulin. Classification models are one of the most widely used groups of data mining tools that greatly help physicians to improve their prognosis, diagnosis or treatment planning procedures. Classification accuracy is one of the most important features in order to choose the appropriate...

Medical diagnosis can be challenging because of a number of factors. Uncertainty in the diagnosis process arises from inaccuracy in the measurement of patient attributes, missing attribute data and limitation in the medical expert’s ability to define cause and effect relationships when there are multiple interrelated variables. Given this situation, a decision support system, which can help doctors come up with a more reliable diagnosis, can have a lot of potential. Decision trees are used in...

This paper proposes a generalized distance measure and its similarity measures between single valued neutrosophic multisets (SVNMs). Then, the similarity measures are applied to a medical diagnosis problem with incomplete, indeterminate and inconsistent information. This diagnosis method can deal with the diagnosis problem with indeterminate and inconsistent information which cannot be handled by the diagnosis method based on intuitionistic fuzzy multisets (IFMs).

In this paper, the correlation measure of neutrosophic refined(multi-) sets is proposed. The concept of this correlation measure of neutrosophic refined sets is the extension of correlation measure of neutrosophic sets and intuitionistic fuzzy multi-sets. Finally, using the correlation of neutrosophic refined set measure, the application of medical diagnosis and pattern recognition are presented.

AI or artificial intelligence is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems. These processes include learning (the acquisition of information and rules for using the information), reasoning (using the rules to reach approximate or definite conclusions), and self-correction. As a result, Artificial Intelligence is gaining Importance in science and engineering fields. The use of Artificial Intelligence in medical diagnosis too is becoming increasingly...

Accurate Medical diagnosis is not always possible at every medical center, especially in the Developing Countries where poor healthcare services and lack of advanced diagnostic methods and equipments affects procedures of medical diagnosis .Also, physician intuition and experience are not always sufficient to achieve high quality medical procedures results. Therefore, diagnostic errors and undesirable results are reasons for a need for Machine Learning Techniques based decision support system,...

COVID-19 is an illness caused by a novel coronavirus also known as severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2, which was first identified in the City of Wuhan, China. Since then, it has been declared as a global pandemic by the World Health Organization. The late diagnosis of COVID-19 patients makes the fast spreading of the virus across the globe. Purpose: Thus, the solution to slow down the spread of this virus would be an expert system that will be able to diagnose COVID - 19 patients...

The emergence of DNA microarray technologies leads to significant advances in molecular biology. Time-course gene expression data are often measured in order to study dynamic biological systems and gene regulatory networks. It is believed that genes demonstrating similar expression profiles over time might give an informative insight into how underlying biological mechanisms work. This importance leads that in microarray gene research, statistical and intelligent models have received...
