This is a modified nexus case with a tripod mount attached. To create the threads for the tripod mount just extrude hot plastic into the hole and screw it onto the tripod mount and let cool. then you will have perfect threads for attaching to a tripod. I added the cross-hairs to have something interesting in the windshield of a vehicle when the phone is not clipped into it. I have also included a version without cross hairs.

I modeled this based on the USB opening size and base height in TaylarRoids' design. However I am not currently using a case and wanted more back support and the ability to easily plug and unplug the cable, hence this thing. The taller back support is curved so that you're able to reach around and easily unlock the phone with the fingerprint scanner. The cable I'm using is the standard cable that came with the phone. My first drawing and personally designed print. Fits the nexus 6 super tight (not tight enough to break the print) you can give it a good shake from the hinge and it's still fine and holds the phone. I didn't really like the designs of stands already available here on thingiverse... so I created my own stand design. Works well in both portrait and landscape. This mount will hold a LG Nexus 5X with a slim case. This means that this will not work with a bare 5X (without a slim case). 11/25/14 - Dock printed, warped on edges due to being at the limits of my heated bed. The curvature of the back does not exactly match the actual Nexus 6. I realized that the bottom tapers down much slimmer than the top does. Nexus logo came out well but is hard to see in photographs. This is a remix of the Nexus 7 (2013) Auto GPS Mount by mccand. I needed to flush mount my Nexus 7 in my Cherokee and there were no available mounts that didn't stick out and look tacky. I was able to strip off the extra parts from this mount and make it a little more lightweight. It attaches using the two thin tabs off the top.
