Summary If you build high power rockets you know what this is useful for. This is for 3" G10 fibreglass airframe, but could also be used for G12 (with a little shimming tape) This is a 3" fin guide for 4 and 3 fin rockets. It also has corresponding alignment guides and vent and switchband drillhole guides. Print Settings Printer: X-Max Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: up to you Infill: up to you Filament: your choise PLA or ABS, I suppose TPU could work irrelevant Notes:...

A wrench for the aft closures of the Aerotech Hobby Line RMS motors (18/20, 24/40, 24/60, and 29/40-120). Based on Aerotech's wrench design, but with a longer handle for better grip and leverage. Note: I have not tested it on the 18mm or 24mm cases, as I don't own them. Please leave comments about potential improvements I could make.

The 1989 Estes product catalog. They sold (and still sell) model rockets which can be fitted with very real solid fuel engines and launched. This is Estes' copy of the catalog as a PDF and the individual page scans from http://www.ninfinger.org, partially to see how the archive will handle such an upload.

PocketQubes are the small version of CubeSats - but rather than 10 cm on the side, they are 5 cm with a 4.2mm square standard PC board size. This is the project to create a platform for learners of all ages to make small satellites - it is called S4 - Small Satellites for Secondary Students and began 5 years ago as a NASA funded educational project. They are part of the overall 20 year old ARLISS - A Rocket Launch for International Student Satellites - project described here. ARLISS invented...

This is an adaptation of my 13,18,24 mm model rocket stand for 29 mm motor mounts. The 29 mm rocket stand is getting to big for a single print, so I have broken down into legs and the upright part. The fit should be fairly tight and friction should hold it together, use an appropriate solvent for the filament type you print this stand to permanently attach the legs.

This is a simple adapter for using 18mm motors in a 24mm mount. It includes a ring at the rear to hold the motor in during chute ejection, no friction fit required, as well as a thrust ring on the outside of the adapter, just in case you designed your rocket without a thrust ring in the motor mount. Print 2 - the included STL is only half of the adapter.

These models consist of the additional parts I designed to upgrade this kit to a high power capable kit which I used for my NAR L1 certification. I've flown it several times on E-H motors, up to an AT H135 that puts it over 4000' AGL. (Sims say another 500' if I flew without my gps tracker, but I'm not just about to try that in the sage we normally fly in.) To build it as I did you will need: 1x centering ring with holes 2x centering ring 6x pocket splines Note that since these are all touching...

Paper outlining the history of the rocket from its introduction by the Chinese, over 1000 years ago, through its employment as a weapon of war in India, to experiments with the rocket as a method of inter-planetary travel. This paper was prepared as part of Lubarsky's initiation into Phi Mu, an engineering honor society.

This is my first attempt at creating something and in doing so familiarizing myself with the various tools for building something like a model rocket as well as creating upgrades for my printer. Being new to Fusion 360, Thingiverse, Ender 3 printing, etc., I decided to practice a little by making this relatively easy item. This is a reinforcing ring for the 101mm diameter main body tube of the Estes Saturn V, kit number 2001 (released around late 1990s). This reinforcing ring measures 99mm...

Motor design by Austin Brown for the Rex Putnam high school Rocket club Assembly: Step 1. After 3d printing all parts or making them. Attach part 1,2,3 by gluing them together. The will be very tight so sanding them before assembly is best. Step 2. Do the same thing with part 4 by sanding then gluing them to the rest of the rocket motor. Step 3. Rocket cap should just twist on. Comments: -Before gluing parts together measure a piece of heat-resistant material that can resist the fuel mix you...

I was unhappy with the placement of GPS module in the Blackaero case, because it had very poor visibility of the sky. So decided to make my own with a bunch of other updates and upgrades. Slowly but surely, it resulted in a design that looks similar on the outside, but completely new design on the inside. First word of caution. Building this case will be more expensive than simply buying Blackaero case of the shelf. If you do not have optional GPS module and/or have a friend happy with their...
