This is a very very slight edit to the original model by DirkDirk. I flattened the geometry behind the "SGC" lettering to make it easier to print multicolor with the "pause and switch filament" tactic.

Remix of original model. Original model caused issues when imported into Slic3r. All I have done to this model is repair issues using blenders automated tools and it now imports into slic3r etc

Created as a secondary stand imitating StarGate Command, for the incredible Kristian's Stargate: https://thestargateproject.com/ The ramp needs M2.5x12mm screws. this was a quick design whilst i was waiting for somethings to print. this is the design from the pannels that line the hallways of Atlantis, designed to sit on a wooded board 18in x .5in x 42in the exact size as a screen used piece. the corner design can be flipped or turned over to make all four corners. ive printed in small scale so far and it looks okay. not had a chance to split and print in full scale.

I made this quite a while ago from a file I found online on this site http://copytime.org/posts/96 ... and he made an awesome prop! I could not find the same image on the RPF links he gave (or the 3D) - so I had made my own 3D using his drawing (2014) in Creo 2.0

A cartouche is an oval or oblong figure in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs that encloses characters. The coverstones found over the Stargate in Giza, 1928 contained a cartouche with the gate coordinates for the planet Abydos. One for the Stargate fans.

For the Stargate SG1 fans. A Goa'uld tablet is a small device used by the Goa'uld to record information and keep records. The tablets have multiple "pages", being changed to by a Page turning device which causes the symbols on the tablet to change. I have left a message on the second Tablet in ancient.

The wait is over. This is the Stargate Atlantis model from my published video. There are no motors required for this model. However there are approximately 130 NeoPixel/RGB LED's. This is a supportless slice of Astrofossil's Mk 2 Ha'tak scaled to 1:9000 by default. The pyramid part is easy to make, but the frame is a real pain in the ass. I suggest using at least 0.1mm horizontal expansion at the default scale for the frame pieces and then cutting away small slices of the bottom pyramid entry space until the pyramid fits to the proper height. For best results you might want to print it at a slightly larger scale so the seams aren't as noticeable.

HEAVILY MODIFIED from one I found for free on the internet. Cant find it anymore. I made it to the point where it was printable as the original had exceptionally fine detail. This one is a higher detail than the previous. And the entire base is one piece. Much harder to fit the LED's in. I used regular PLA for the base and transparent for the buildings so the light could get through.
