In my romanticized view of Tibet I always had the image of seeing a Yak Train carrying goods through the mountains and I always wondered if I was being a tad sterotypical in this thinking. Obviously, I wasn't.

My review of the Go Motorboard 2000XR, the sleekest electric scooter of it's kind. Foldable yet powerful, you can ride this and stow it away easily for any situation. This newest model features improved suspension and battery life, which means a top speed of 15 mph and a range of 25 mile radius. Check it out!

Mobility and car culture in Sao Paulo, Brazil. 11 million people, almost 6 million automobiles; one "accident" every 3 minutes; one death every 6 hours; 8 fatal victims of the pollution per day. Instead of squares, shopping malls; instead of sidewalks, large avenues; instead of parks, parking lots; instead of voices, engines and horns. Dark and closed glasses prevent the human contact. Drive to work, work to drive. Buy a car and get rid of bad public transportation....

Who we are. Critical Mass is an event held typically on the last Friday of every month in cities around the world , where bicyclists and self-propelled people take to the streets en masse. Critical Mass has no leaders, and no goals other than to meet once every month and enjoy the security of riding, rolling and travelling through the city together.

In The News: It's ON! An insurgent 'surge' in Iraq. Three bridges blown up outside of Baghdad, forcing the US military to use vulnerable helicopter transport or move along booby-trapped roadways. Also a three-truck bombing in the north. More, Details. More 'bad news from Baghdad': The insurgents go visiting government officials at home, capturing the Deputy oil minister and others from the oil ministry.
