An anthology double lp. [1998-2002] This compilation of old material done between 1998-2002 was put together primarily for myself, family, and friends. It contains a wide range of material. Track 17, aerosol, was featured on the little brutal rave bastards series vol 3 12" lp compilation on Germany's Dhyanna records. THE MATERIAL ON THIS anthology is very eclectic and and contains a broad range of styles across the experimental electronic & idm spectrum.

My tribute to Erik Spåre, otherwise known as Parsec/Cytax. who decided this world wasn`t a place in which to stay - a shock to all Cytax members from the oldschool times. This one's for you, man - that oldschool style; hypnotic, mellow and addictive.

A selection of tracks released at Assembly 2003, Helsinki, Finland. Some tracks were entered into various music competitions and others were featured on a special YLEQ radio show in which several of Kahvi`s artists were interviewed.

A 45 minute continuous mix from Proswell, ft. b-sides, out takes, new material, and a few favorites from his sophomore release Carrot Dossier (columbo theme, tar and atari, rat news) on m3rck records. Even with this relation, Dryrot is easily a release with its own identity. Finding time between releases at m3rck and running Inpuj, he explores the laid back and driving sound that's heard between the cracks of Carrot Dossier and often strays from the sound that defined that album (as is heard...

Melodic clicks and cuts from Russia. Experimental-though-funky clicks coexist alongside ambient soundscapes and melodic synth lines. The highs are high and the lows are low. More weirdly endearing music from Urban Sprawl Records.

This compilation is our real toy. The idea to compile it was born even before the appearance of sutemos.net. But we had to make a long way, to create our own face, to gather contacts, to become interesting abroad. A more than year long work is finally finished and it is all hidden deep inside the intelligent toy. It was worth waiting. February 29th. The date - compilation was released ? is as rare and uncommon as the compilation is for us. Now we can boast that we gathered a bunch of IDM stars...

Having released an EP back in 2002 from the sometime duo, nowadays largely uno Ilkae , aka Canada's Aaron Munson, we were delighted when we heard Ilkae had a new 777-copy limited edition CDR out, called 'Stained Glass Pinata'. What's more, he wanted to mix up a couple of the tracks from it with some more exclusive songs for a Monotonik release as the cunningly named 'Stained Glass Confetti EP'. In fact, we were so delighted that we let him do it. So he did. So we released it. And this is it....

Beyond the border, under the sun, time flows and notes see the light in that dark time. Under the sea, noiseless vortexes appear and disappear; they look like strange flowers to me. Into the abyss, cyber-electro cute animals live their life with joy and thoughtlessness, under the sun-god, over the throne, sat on that chair. The artist finds the inner beauty of things, and through music conceives a certain unique melancholy effect, which we already referred to as joie de vivre.

A refined meeting between eccentric perfection and vibrating rhythms has always distinguished Planet Boelex's works amidst the releases in the catalogue of any label really; discrete hints, beats like opaque diamonds set in sweet and inspiring harmonies. A track like a hidden secret, pulsating, enterprising, but perfectly structured IDM, drawn as a sensual figure provided with an enwrapping sensuality. Planet Boelex is lovable, for his apparent semplicity, for his crystal-like grooves, for the...

Krasnoyarsk, Russia. That's where this music comes from. It feels like the other side of the planet. It's close to Mongolia and Kazakhstan and no where near Moscow. Over there, three guys came together and created Eholow. Their sound (something in between intelligent dance music and post-rock) got picked up by Nu_Aura Netlabel. An interesting new label which combines music and illustrations for every track. Sure enough, this did get our attention and brought us to the two tracks presented to...

The second release from Sweden's Bliss , aka Henrik Jose, and this lovingly crafted 3-track EP cements his reputation as creator of some of the lushest, most beautiful electronics around. With his previous net.label releases on Fairlight Music and success at the Assembly demoparty last year, his vocal-blended, multi-layered, live instrument-appropriating angle creates, well, just sublime results, well-deserving of a record deal any time now, we reckon. This EP starts out with 'Transportation Is...

A return to Monotonik duties from Swedish artist Anders Svensson, formerly a Scandinavian indie band stalwart, and following up his debut Monotonik EP with another 3 tracks of wonderfully elliptical, genuinely original takes on the whole electronic music thing. First up, 'Making It Personal' does that almost-cylical gorgeously crystallic thing than so many of Anders' tracks seem to, before 'Facing Trouble' drifts beautifully around the question, all coy and drifting. Finally, 'Sooner As Well As...

Fancying this natural grace and nodding while smiling is something we can't really help doing. Repetitive, but celestial notes wear a tough hi-freq base interlacing with trembles and reverse hits and sweet caressable -yet hidden- movements, which we can only guess the existence of. Very animesque and enjoyable this one, will be difficult to listen to this less than 5 times a day my friends.

The man behind this strange moniker does not seem to be too eager to unveil is real identity or mission to his audience. And the four tracks of his release on Yuki Yaki insignificantly named Track 1 to Track 4 are not telling too many literal stories either. But anyway, is not music itself the best and most unpretentious mean of passing information? Cocoawildboars encode and encrypt their message pretty meticulously and it seems to directly aim at the dance instincts. Crispy breakbeats, closely...
