Hosted by Babbs, Gimp, and Paul they played a diverse set of musical styles ranging from classics like Janes Addiction and Sonic Youth to the local underground scene with totally random stuff thrown in. *Let me know if you find the date of this broadcast.

"The Discreet Business EP was one of the first projects released by me after I changed my studio setup. The focus was to put every piece of gear I had acquired into use; including a few guitars that were gathering dust in the corner. These 5 tracks were recorded in the winter of 2002, but were remastered much later to be a part of the Post Under catalogue. They represent a shift in style and are hopefully representative of a continual change in genres in my output. Thanks, and enjoy this...

The head of the medusa occupies a distinctive but ambiguous place in the symbology of overhyped French philosopher Jacques Lacan. We took the words for this from a poem by Percy Shelly about the painting by Da Vinci of a scene described by Ovid, amongst others. The legend of Perseus and Andromeda is a bit of a hobby horse for me I'm afraid. The name of the song is a pun on Wilhelm Reich.

Here's the first album on Corewatch from Can'o'lard with 11 pieces of sheer idmalism. 'None Of What' starts beatless with a long soundscape of pads and white noise and leads to a queue of fine pieces of playful electronic loveliness, sometimes turning into sweet melodies, sometimes into dramatic emotion like 'Tulsa Clerk', 'Fill' and 'Muster' or becoming more rhythm orientated like 'Tardy' with it's attentive LFO chords. The ender 'Mosey On' stays calm for a long moment and wraps us into sweet...

The four track EP "These Things" contains lovely, warm, glitchy idm and ethereal vocals that resonates a dark and dreamy atmosphere injected with delectable pops and crunchy beats. From the delayed pianos and down-tempo beats on ÂWith You to the edgy, fluttering rhythms and sliced vocals on ÂOne In The Same, this EP proves to be a mesmerizing sonic exploration resulting in elegant minimalism. Imagine Massive Attack and Portishead jamming with Aphex TwinÂs gear and you have an...

These are two selections from a concert of 20th century classical compositions by Japanese composers performed by the NHK Symphony Orchestra with Yūzō Toyama, conducting. The two works heard are “Legend for Orchestra” by Toshiya Sukegawa and “Two Tableaux for Orchestra” by Michio Mamiya. Little known in the United States these works are fine examples of the state of contemporary classical music in Japan during the 1960s. Note: The quality of the recording is not as good as could be...

This is a tape realization of John Cage’s 1958 composition “Fontana Mix”. More of an indeterminate plan for a piece than a piece itself, “Fontana Mix” has a graphic score consisting of 10 sheets of paper with curved lines and 12 transparencies, 10 of which contain a varied number of randomly distributed dots, 1 with a straight line, and the last with a grid pattern. According to Cage’s instructions these sheets could be superimposed upon each other and then interpreted so as to...

His sound is an intricate tapestry of interwoven hardware synth melodies with a layer of electronic percussion. Dubreak began to record his music in 1993, as a sonic diary for the current sounds that brought a smile to his face. He has been on countless voyages to the Outerworld, where he persuaded several high profile algorithms to spare his puny heu-mann existence. This...
